Get ready to dive into an intriguing world of engineering challenges as a popular puzzle sandbox makes its way to Quest, bringing a plethora of bridge-building tasks to both virtual and mixed reality environments.
Originally anticipated last week, the much-awaited Bridge Constructor Studio will finally debut on Quest this week. While it has been postponed a bit, it’s all set to deliver its captivating bridge-building simulation, enabling players to construct, test, and tweak their masterpieces in the immersive virtual landscape, as well as in the mixed reality on Quest 3.
Scheduled for release on December 12th, Bridge Constructor Studio offers an engaging campaign featuring 70 different puzzles. Players must transport various vehicles from one point to another using a variety of construction materials such as wood, steel, cables, concrete pillars, and road surfaces.
What sets this XR version apart from past flatscreen releases and its competitor Poly Bridge is that here, there are no default budget constraints or material limitations. However, for those looking for an extra challenge, these can be activated to achieve a “special award,” according to the developers.
Beyond the campaign, Bridge Constructor Studio introduces a Scenario Creation Mode. This mode allows you to craft and enjoy your very own bridge-building scenarios. You can save up to 40 custom levels to your profile, making replayability endless and personalized.
Crafted by ClockStone STUDIO, the same team behind both the flatscreen and XR versions of LEGO Bricktales (2023) and earlier flatscreen iterations of Bridge Constructor since 2011, this game promises to offer a rich and engaging experience.
Set at an accessible price of $10, Bridge Constructor Studio will be exclusively available on December 12th for Quest 2 and Quest 3 users. If you’re eager to jump into this bridge-building adventure, you can find it on the Horizon Store.
