Zombie fans, get ready to celebrate—your voices have finally been heard loud and clear!
That seems to be the heart of the newest update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, as developer Treyarch has spilled the beans on the changes rolling out this Thursday. They’re flipping back on the initial modifications made to the Zombies Directed Mode from January 3, candidly acknowledging, "Sometimes, we don’t hit the mark right off the bat."
"We totally get that it’s not fun when a ‘fix’ hits a few weeks later for something that didn’t bug you in the first place. So, we’re rolling back the Directed Mode changes, packing four new buffs into the Shadow Rift, and working on a fix for speedrunners to safely use the Shock Charge tactic in Terminus again. The first two tweaks are live now, but the speedrun fix needs a bit more testing before it’s unleashed," explains the team.
Treyarch also pointed out that some problems are trickier than they seem, which means it might take longer to sort out certain bugs or exploits. The Vermin double-attack bug and the Terminus Speedrun fix remain unresolved for now, but they’re slated to be tackled with the Season 2 launch on January 28, 2025.
