Capcom has announced that they’re bringing back a fan favorite from the PlayStation 2 era, Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny, with a fresh remaster that’s making its way to the Nintendo Switch.
This direct sequel to Onimusha: Warlords didn’t just capture the hearts of many—it sold an impressive 2.1 million copies globally, earning the title of the best-selling game in the series.
In this gripping story of revenge, you step into the shoes of the new hero, Jubei Yagyu. His character brings to life the likeness of the late Yusaku Matsuda, a renowned Japanese actor who rose to fame in the 1980s.
The remastered edition not only preserves the captivating setting and familiar gameplay mechanics of the original but also introduces modern enhancements and user-friendly improvements, making it a fitting update for today’s consoles.
