Next Thursday is shaping up to be quite a day for Pokémon fans. In celebration of Pokémon Day, The Pokémon Company has a slate of fresh announcements lined up.
On February 27, which also marks the anniversary of the release of Pokémon Red and Green, a Pokémon Presents showcase will be broadcasted at 9 a.m. Eastern, 6 a.m. Pacific, and 3 p.m. Central European Time. While the duration of the presentation remains a mystery, the anticipation is building.
It’s been exactly one year since we last witnessed a Pokémon Presents event, which left fans buzzing with the debut of Pokémon Legends: Z-A and the unveiling of Pokémon TCG Pocket. Last year, when Z-A was announced with a 2025 launch date, there wasn’t a summer presentation, a common occurrence when a major game or expansion is in the pipeline.
So, as we approach Pokémon Day, the excitement is palpable, and fans can only speculate about what surprises The Pokémon Company has in store this time around.
