Nintendo has announced that the upcoming Nintendo Direct: Nintendo Switch 2 presentation is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, April 2, 2025, and it’s going to be a substantial one, lasting about 60 minutes.
You’ll have several viewing times to choose from, whether you want to catch the show at 6 AM PT, 9 AM ET, 2 PM BST, or 3 PM CEST.
Last month, Nintendo finally pulled back the curtain on the Nintendo Switch 2, putting an end to weeks of swirling rumors, leaks, and speculation about what the follow-up to its iconic portable home console might bring.
In a brief reveal video, fans got a glimpse of the console’s design, hints of a brand-new Mario Kart game, and confirmation that the hardware will feature backward compatibility with games from the original console.
Nintendo has elaborated that the Switch 2 will play both physical and digital games from the Nintendo Switch library. However, they have cautioned that there might be some games that are not supported or fully compatible with the new system.
Looking ahead, Nintendo Switch 2 is set to make its worldwide debut in 2025, although the exact release date is still under wraps.
