TinyBuild, known for its role in both developing and publishing games, has decided to sell Red Cerberus, a company focused on quality assurance. This transition takes place under a $1.5 million deal paid in cash, with the new owner being the testing firm TestFly.
Kevin Chelius, the CEO of TestFly, expressed his excitement about this acquisition: “We’re thrilled to welcome Red Cerberus to the TestFly family,” he stated. He highlighted that the expertise and solid reputation of Red Cerberus align perfectly with TestFly’s goals of elevating standards in game testing. This move, according to Chelius, not only enhances their ability to deliver reliable, high-quality gaming experiences on a global scale but also boosts their footprint in the Latin American market.
On the other side of the table, TinyBuild CEO Alex Nichiporchik shared his thoughts on the sale: “The sale of Red Cerberus marks an important milestone in streamlining our portfolio and focusing on what we do best: creating and growing great IP. Red Cerberus has been a valuable partner in our journey, and I’d like to thank the entire team for their dedication.”
He emphasized that by reallocating resources, TinyBuild will be better positioned to concentrate on their main creative projects, aiming to maximize long-term revenue with new game releases. Looking ahead, Nichiporchik is eager about the offerings planned for 2025 and remains optimistic about TinyBuild’s future direction.
