Exciting times are ahead, folks! Fresh 2XKO updates have stirred up quite the buzz across social media, making this month a lot more thrilling than we initially expected. What we have, in essence, is a promise of a forthcoming development update video. Now, we can look forward to a comprehensive overview of changes in the game, Jinx, and details about the next Alpha Lab test, coming our way soon.

Breaking this news was none other than Mr. Ben Forbes, the editor-in-chief at 2XKO, who took to Twitter to share the latest developments. He enthusiastically announced, “We just wrapped up filming the next 2XKO update! We’re still in the editing, production, and localization stages, but here’s what’s in store: An in-depth look at the gameplay changes since Alpha Lab 1 (Jinx included!), some background on Alpha Lab 2, and a special showmatch featuring the dev team.”

He went on to say, “It’s a pretty detailed update, so expect a lengthy video—probably around an hour or so. We’re aiming to release it in the last week of March. While we’re not quite ready for PowerPoint livestreams for the masses yet, that’s on the horizon one day…”

Before you get too carried away, Ben made it clear there won’t be any new character revelations in this update, so keep your speculations in check.

As a quick recap, last year the 2XKO team teased us with a “See you next year” note, hinting at details coming in February. However, game director Shaun Rivera brought an update directly on Twitter with a few significant changes. We’ve got a shift in scope for the next Alpha Labs test and a fresh fuse for the game to keep us intrigued.

It appears the timelines at Riot have adjusted a bit, leading to a change in plans for the Alpha Lab tests, resulting in this February update bumping into March. Nonetheless, with the game’s release still slated for this year, it will be refreshing to receive a current info pack on progress, ongoing work, and a hint of what’s next for 2XKO in the realm of gaming.
