In a surprising move that might make you do a double take, Blizzard is once again bringing back the Mother’s Blessing event to Diablo 4. This isn’t your full-fledged double XP event, but it does offer a respectable boost to your XP and Gold earnings.
If you’re having a sense of déjà vu, it’s because this bonus event made its debut back in February, around a similar time frame.
For March, Mother’s Blessing remains consistent with the February installment, offering players a 35% increase in XP and a 50% uptick in Gold (yes, both multiplicative). However, there’s an exciting twist this time around, introduced with the launch of the ongoing Season of Witchcraft. Now, when you’re turning in your Whispers, you also snag an extra Gift of the Tree cache.
While this addition—aptly named the Collection of Chaos—might not be perfect for optimizing your farming strategy, the bonus is certainly welcome. It’s particularly helpful since the entire Season of Witchcraft is centered around Whispers. And just like before, these bonuses are compatible with any Elixirs you have running, plus the Urn of Aggression from the Seasonal Journey stacks up too.
Mark your calendars for Tuesday, March 18, when the event kicks off, lasting a whole week until March 25. The best part? Everyone on the Seasonal and Eternal Realms can partake, regardless of World Tier.
In other Diablo 4 updates, Blizzard’s recent livestream gave fans an insight into what’s packaged in patch 2.2, which has already begun its PTR testing phase this week. Fans can look forward to a slew of exciting updates in the next season, including the ability to acquire and wield boss powers, a revamped endgame boss ladder with new summoning methods, and the ominous entry of Belial’s legion of formidable foes.
So gear up, dive into the chaos, and enjoy the ride!
