Collector’s Edition of The ARTcade Game Brimming with New Content

Terrifier: The ARTcade Game is gearing up for an exciting release with a collector’s edition that’s absolutely loaded with content. However, this exclusive package will be available for only a couple of platforms.

Originally unveiled in October 2024, this project is being crafted by the Spanish developers at Relevo and will be published under the SelectaPlay label from Barcelona’s SelectaVision. Terrifier: The ARTcade Game is a nostalgic 2D pixel art beat-em-up built around the world of Terrifier, and they’re aiming for a 2025 launch, pending a finalized release date.

SelectaPlay recently announced the Collector’s Edition of Terrifier: The ARTcade Game, which is jam-packed with exclusive goodies. Included in this special edition is a physical copy of the game, a quirky “Puke” bag, two enamel pins featuring characters Art the Clown and Vicky, a reversible poster, and a set of character stickers. Buyers will also enjoy a physical art book, a collector’s case for the game, a soundtrack, and an instruction manual. To top it all off, a pair of light gray, blood-splattered gloves are included—just like Art’s, but without the fingers cut off.

This eagerly awaited Collector’s Edition is already available for pre-order on the game’s official site. Based on SelectaPlay’s past releases, it seems likely this edition will only be available before the game hits store shelves. While it’s hard to pin down a precise launch due to a lack of an official release window, we do know the game’s arrival is slated for 2025.

Platform availability also factors into this exclusivity. Initially announced for PS5 and PC, the game will now also come to Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X/S. However, the physical Collector’s Edition will be available only for the PS5 and Switch. Xbox and PC players will have to settle for digital versions.

As for the game itself, Terrifier: The ARTcade Game will weave its narrative loosely around the three films in the series but introduce its own twist with a meta story. Players will find themselves in the thick of things as Art the Clown causes bloody chaos on movie sets. The Collector’s Edition promises exclusive digital treats like a Hardcore mode with an alternative ending, an Extra gallery, and a unique character skin.
