Destiny 2 Player Showcases Incredible Fox McCloud Design

Recently, a Destiny 2 player, known as Complete-Sun-9960 on Reddit, has managed to bridge the realms of futuristic gaming and nostalgic anime by crafting a spot-on Fox McCloud outfit using the game’s new cosmetic pieces. They cleverly pieced together elements from Destiny’s extensive transmog system, highlighting the community’s creativity in character design.

Destiny 2 is renowned for its expansive range of customization options, allowing players to transform their characters into anything from mythic knights and magicians to trend-setting urban icons. This versatility has sparked a vibrant community dedicated to Destiny fashion, where players unleash their creativity, often pulling in references from broader pop culture or inventing entirely new avatars.

In this latest creation, the Fox McCloud ensemble comes alive through the addition of the Doki Doki Destiny Titan Helm. This particular piece, part of the “Doki Doki” line, was introduced during Episode: Revenant’s Act 2 and draws inspiration from the whimsical and romantic themes found in anime and manga. Painted with the Vanguard Nightbeam shader, the helm mimics the distinctive red face of the beloved fox pilot.

Many within the community were so impressed by this homage to the Nintendo icon, particularly his Super Smash Bros. Brawl incarnation, that they found themselves willing to part with their Bright Dust for the unique Titan Helm. Some fans even offered suggestions to modify the costume further, like incorporating the “metal legs” that are a nod to Fox McCloud’s original design.
