If you’re looking for a game that challenges both your mind and reflexes, DodgeCraft might be just what you need. Recently released for both Quest and PlayStation VR2, this game is all about keeping you on your toes.
Developed by INCISIV Ltd, a small studio based in Belfast, DodgeCraft is their second venture following the success of CleanSheet Soccer. This new game aims to mesh “fast action with the art of deception,” honing your agility through varying challenges. So, if you’re curious about how it all comes together, there’s plenty to see for yourself!
DodgeCraft offers two engaging gameplay modes. First, there’s ‘Dodge’Em,’ a mode sure to get your heart pumping as you navigate through an asteroid field, doing your best to avoid the meteorites hurtling your way. Then there’s ‘Run the Gauntlet,’ where you’ll face off against bots and humanoids using clever tricks to slip past you. To top it off, mixed reality support adds a new layer of immersion.
Professor Cathy Craig, the CEO of INCISIV, shares that her personal experiences inspired this game. Reflecting on her days as an out-half for Ulster Rugby, she recalls how she often hesitated when it came to tackling opponents. “DodgeCraft offers a safe environment to practice anticipation and decisive action as a defender without the fear of getting injured,” she shares. “It’s perfect for training without the pain!”
For those eager to jump in, DodgeCraft is now available on both the Meta Quest platform and PlayStation VR2.
