It seems we’ve hit a bit of a bump with this remake.
This week, we dive deep into the realm of Death Wish 4 with our 1-900-103-4RFN offers (00:00:26). While this was initially just part of the intro, as always, RFN has its unique way of unfolding.
After spending quite an impressive amount of time on a segment primarily designed to help new listeners get acquainted with our voices and inform everyone if Jon happens to be out (which, let’s face it, is pretty likely), we segue into NEW BUSINESS! Greg kicks things off with a brief update on Mario & Luigi: Brothership, and then sparks a lively discussion about the latest NSO addition: Donkey Kong Land (00:13:38). Meanwhile, James is back at it with his thoughtful antics, diving into the freshly launched KUUKYOMI 4: Consider It (00:31:04). It’s a challenge to describe these games—they all share similarities, yet they’re undeniably stupid fun. Guillaume wraps up his thoughts on Trials of Mana (00:39:54), and he’s convinced it’s a fantastic game. Plus, it’s included in the Nintendo Black Friday sale. He’s not as enthusiastic about the Amazon series Like a Dragon: Yakuza (00:45:43). As for Jon, he’s purchased Skyrim once more (01:05:01), but this time on PS5, and he’s actually playing it. Alongside James, he’s also exploring strategies for acquiring vouchers for the eShop and Xbox Live – game time is almost here for these two.
Following a brief intermission, the team curates a list of eight Nintendo DS games, two from each member, to decide on our pick for The Nintendo DS 20th Anniversary Retroactive (01:15:27). Curious about what we chose? Tune in to find out.
Let’s keep the momentum going!
