Microsoft is shaking things up in the gaming world with its newest line of Xbox Series consoles. Gamers can now look forward to the Xbox Series X 1TB Digital Edition, the eye-catching Xbox Series X 2TB Galaxy Black Special Edition, and the Xbox Series S sporting a 1TB version.

When it comes to cost, the Xbox Series X 2TB Galaxy Black Special Edition is setting you back $599.99. If you’re eyeing the Xbox Series X 1TB Digital Edition, it’ll be $449.99, while the Xbox Series S 1TB version comes in at $349.99. Unfortunately, for those eager buyers in India, these new consoles aren’t available just yet.

Technical Changes
Popular YouTuber Austin Evans has taken a closer look and notes some intriguing differences between the 2020 Xbox Series X model and the latest Xbox Series Digital Edition. One of the highlights? A brand new heatsink system. Additionally, it looks like the new Xbox Series version has a refreshed motherboard that’s missing the SSD shield you might remember from before.

Evans also mentioned that the latest Series X is equipped with a more compact 6nm SoC. As for power consumption, the original 2020 Xbox Series X clocks in at 61 watts while idle. In contrast, the 2TB Galaxy Black Special Edition uses 51 watts, and the Digital Edition sips just 38 watts when idle. Evans pushed the testing further with Forza Horizon 5, uncovering that the Xbox Series X utilized 167 watts, the Digital Edition drew 156 watts, and the Galaxy Black Special Edition took up 151 watts during play.
