NVIDIA is gearing up for an exciting launch of their GeForce RTX 50 “Blackwell” series, with at least four new gaming GPUs expected to make their debut in early 2025. Initially, we’ll see the release of the high-performance models, with more mainstream options following down the line.
Recent leaks and whispers from the industry have clued us in on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 “Blackwell” GPUs lineup, dropping hints about what’s on the horizon for gaming enthusiasts. Early 2025 looks set to bring us the RTX 5090 and 5080, and now, it seems NVIDIA might also be gearing up to unveil the RTX 5070 Ti and 5070 around the same period.
In a report from Benchlife, there’s speculation that NVIDIA is planning to unveil both the RTX 5070 Ti and the regular RTX 5070 right after the flagship RTX 5090 and 5080 models hit the shelves. The timeline suggests a first-quarter release in 2025, which makes CES a prime contender for the grand reveal of these exciting new products.
Although word on the street is that the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 could be showcased in February 2025, this is a slight nudge forward from the initial expectation that only the 5070 would launch in early 2025. It now appears that both models will be part of NVIDIA’s grand Q1 offering.
Following this initial wave, gamers can anticipate the announcement of the 60-class cards, including potentially the RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060, projected for a May 2025 release. However, confirmation on these dates and details is still pending. The major launch may also lift the curtain on additional specs and the release schedule for the lower-tier cards.
As for the specs, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is expected to be a powerhouse—sporting 8960 Cuda Cores, 16 GB of GDDR7 memory, and a TGP of 300W. Although most reports pin the TGP at 300W, some AIB partners of NVIDIA speculate it might actually be closer to 350W. Meanwhile, the RTX 5070 is said to come with 6400 Cuda Cores, 12 GB of GDDR7 VRAM, and a 250W TGP.
Details regarding the RTX 5060 Ti and 5060 remain elusive, but rest assured that as soon as reliable information trickles in, you’ll hear it from us.
