Hello Trailblazers! The Honkai: Star Rail development team is back with exciting updates about version 2.7, A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn, scheduled to release on December 4. This is the grand finale in Penacony before the Astral Express embarks on its journey to the enigmatic Amphoreus, also known as the Eternal Land. As we close this chapter, we eagerly prepare for the unfolding narrative in version 3.0.

In the last story arc, the enigmatic Black Swan prompted the Crew to explore Amphoreus—a mysterious realm even the famed Aeon of the Trailblaze, Akivili, couldn’t reach. Filled with both curiosity and caution, Navigator Himeko sets out to gather all the available information about this intriguing new destination. Before they depart, the Crew makes one last stop in Penacony, reuniting with friends and creating cherished memories in a heartfelt farewell.

### Old Friends Return to Shine

Those vivid memories of performing at the Penacony Grand Theater seem as fresh as yesterday. It’s not just Penacony or the Astral Express that has awakened from its slumber—Mr. Sunday has, too. There’s something deeply moving about being on stage with him again. Choosing to step down from his position as the leader of the Oak Family, he declares his intention to “Descend to the mortal realm and walk their lands. See what this world is truly like.” Abandoning the blessings of Harmony and Order, he pursues his vision of a utopia as a simple mortal. With the help of a mysterious Pepeshi named Wonweek, Sunday makes his way back to Penacony for one final, unforgettable performance before starting afresh. His new look, complete with a robe and hood, allows him to disguise his identity for this farewell show in the Planet of Festivities.

As a 5-star Imaginary character, Sunday boasts exceptional Support abilities, enabling an ally to act immediately and increasing their damage output. If the ally has a Summon, both can act simultaneously, amplifying the damage boost. With his Ultimate, Sunday regenerates Energy for an ally, transforming both the ally and their Summon into The Beatified, thereby bestowing a halo on the ally to boost their CRIT DMG.

Joining the lineup is Fugue, once known as Tingyun—the astute foxian girl whose identity has been unjustly stolen. Despite this, a sliver of hope persists amid the looming shadow of Destruction. Tingyun narrowly escaped death at the hands of Phantylia back in version 1.2’s main storyline, thanks to Madam Ruan Mei from the Genius Society, who saved her in the nick of time. Recently, Himeko and Welt visited Madam Ruan Mei to bring Miss Tingyun back home, rekindling her journey to her rightful place.

Fugue emerges as a 5-star Fire character adept at assisting allies in reducing Toughness, regardless of the enemy’s Type Weaknesses. Enemies in her presence become afflicted with the Cloudflame Luster state. When this state depletes, the target suffers Break DMG once more. Additionally, Fugue’s Technique enhances ally characters’ Break Effect during Weakness Broken attacks. Her Ultimate delivers Fire DMG across all adversaries, bypassing Weakness Type to directly slash their Toughness.

Prepare for the return of limited 5-star characters General Jing Yuan and Firefly during the version 2.7 warp event, each in the first and second halves. Their incredible support ensures they’re invaluable comrades for your upcoming quests.

### Expanded Gameplay Experience in Version 2.7

Version 2.7 brings a more immersive experience, packed with fresh characters and storylines. Step into the Astral Express’ new Party Car—a charming blend of elegance and nostalgia. Visitors can unwind in a spacious reception area, crafted with a sleek marble bar and tended to by a classic bartending robot. Delight in a drink with the Express Crew or enjoy a peaceful moment by the window, allowing the expansive Cosmos to inspire reflection.

Ascend to the Trailblazer’s personal quarters and take part in the Cosmic Home Décor Guide event, transforming a bare storage room into a cozy sanctuary, complete with a bedroom and bathroom. Earn Express Funds through tasks to gather furniture, slowly crafting a unique space that mirrors your stellar adventure.

Excitingly, version 3.0 introduces enhancements to the Relic system. Players can now set a Relic’s Main and Subsidiary Stats during synthesis by employing specialized tools. With the new item, Wishful Resin, alongside Self-Modeling Resin, you can tailor both Main and Sub Stats for a Relic simultaneously.

Lastly, here’s something special discovered by Pom-Pom while organizing the Trailblazer’s storage! From version 2.7 until version 3.2’s conclusion, Trailblazers can claim a Gift of the Express, offering a 5-star character of their choice.
