Interestingly, this date has remained unchanged since the FAQ was first published on April 2nd, two days before any delay was even hinted at. Originally, the pre-orders for the Switch 2 were pushed back due to tariffs imposed by former President Donald Trump, affecting the shipment of these systems to the U.S. dramatically. Although many of these tariffs have been considerably rolled back following a 90-day suspension, Nintendo has not yet provided any updates on when North American fans can expect new pre-order dates.
