Third Playtest of 33 Immortals Returns from January 28 to February 7

Happy New Year, gamers!

Exciting news for Xbox Insiders—33 Immortals is making a comeback with its third playtest kicking off on January 28. You’ll have ten action-packed days to dive in, wrapping up on February 6. Thunder Lotus Games has rolled out a slew of updates, and they’re eager for Xbox Insiders to jump in, explore, and, more importantly, give feedback. But remember, spots are limited. Mark your calendars and be ready to experience this one-of-a-kind 33-player co-op action-roguelike.

About the Game:

Step into the shoes of a damned soul daring to defy God’s ultimate judgment. Imagine yourself battling in massive 33-player co-op skirmishes, made easy with quick "pick-up and raid" matchmaking. You’ll need to work with your allies to fend off waves of relentless monsters and bosses that test your limits. Gather an arsenal, get hold of powerful relics, and permanently boost your soul’s capabilities. The Wrath of God awaits, and it’s going to be an epic fight for your eternal existence.

Updates and Fixes:

First Time User Experience:

• A fresh cutscene now awaits newcomers to welcome them into the game.
• Enjoy smoother dialogue sequences.
• Additional dialogue options have been included.
• Added new compendium entries with updated user interfaces.

Other Improvements:

• You can now reroll relics in your Relic Inventory.
• Watch your meta currency totals—Eternal Shards, Paragons, Stardust—appear as you gather them during a run.
• The revival speed for players in soul form has been adjusted.
• Bone Shrines now heal based on a percentage of your health rather than a fixed number.
• Inferno phases of the Wrath of God have been tweaked to increase in difficulty in later maps.

Playtest Timings:

Start: Tuesday, January 28, at 7:00 AM PT (10:00 AM ET / 2:00 PM GMT)
End: Friday, February 7, at 7:00 AM PT (10:00 AM ET / 2:00 PM GMT)

How to Dive In:

On January 28, log into your Xbox Series X|S console or Windows PC. Open up the Xbox Insider Hub app (or grab it from the Store if you haven’t already).

• Navigate to Previews > 33 Immortals
• Hit Join
• Sit tight for the registration process to wrap up, then head over to the Store to install the 33 Immortals Beta.

Remember, space is limited and spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Note also, this playtest is exclusive to Xbox Series X|S consoles and Windows PC.

Should you run into any issues while playing the 33 Immortals Beta, don’t hesitate to report them:

• Press and hold the home button on your Xbox controller.
• Choose Report a problem.
• Select the Games category and then the 33 Immortals Beta subcategory.
