Xbox Insiders with Game Pass Ultimate – Stream Personal Games on Xbox Consoles

Hey Xbox Insiders! With the holiday season buzzing around us, we’ve got something exciting to share. Let’s dive in and unveil it together!

Just last month, we shared some thrilling news: Game Pass Ultimate members can now stream selected games they own through a variety of devices. Whether it’s your TV, smartphone, PC, or tablet, as long as you’re in one of the 28 countries where Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) operates, you’re good to go. We also hinted that streaming directly on Xbox consoles would kick off next year.

Well, starting today, those of you in the Alpha Skip-Ahead and Alpha rings are in for a treat. You can now preview this feature on your Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles.

### Stream Your Own Game on Your Xbox Console

For Xbox Insiders who also happen to be Game Pass Ultimate members, there’s more good news. You can now stream certain games you own right on your Xbox console, expanding beyond the Game Pass catalog in those 28 countries where Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) thrives. The “Stream your own game” feature lets you play select games without the need to install them on your console. This not only saves you time and valuable hard drive space but also enhances your gaming flexibility with Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta).

Getting started is simple: Head over to My games & apps, navigate to Full library, and then hit Owned Games. If a cloud badge pops up on a game, it means it’s ready to be streamed. Want to filter it down? Just select Filter, choose Ready to play, and then dive into Cloud gaming. To get playing, pick your game and select Play with Cloud Gaming.

Looking ahead, we’ll roll out support for launching games directly from the Store app and streaming through the Xbox app on Windows PC.
